Farrah Fawcett wore these shoes but I haven't found the picture ... yet.
Mary posed for her own version of the poster in Taiwan, but wearing a pair of Daybreaks.
Exeter made several pairs of a plaid shoe for Farrah and I know there is at least one picture of her wearing them (which I can't find). Mary received a pair as well.

My mom worked at this Exeter Nike factory, and it used to be Wise Shoe. She also received a pair of these shoes from co-owner Phil Knight. She told me the story or the “checkered Nikes” and this is the only photo I have ever seen of them!
