Adidas Racing spikes Made in West Germany About 1972 |
I don't know the name of these racing spikes but thy were my favorites!
The stretchy leather conformed to my foot and I was convinced the three stripes gave me arch support. They were light.
The full length synthetic plate with "grippy" nubs were awesome on artificial surfaces. I felt as though they made many small compressions on the track surface which gave a little spring as my foot came off the track. Even if only a psychological advantage, it was an advantage.
And as a Duck, I loved the green.
